You Choose Veggie Burgers

START TO FINISH: 20 minutes MAKES 6 servings

6 refrigerated or frozen desired meatless burger patties

6 whole wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted

1 recipe Ultra Ketchup Topper, Smoky Berry Topper, or Double Pepper Topper

1 Heat patties according to package directions. Fill buns with patties and Ultra Ketchup Topper, Smoky Berry Topper, or Double Pepper Topper.

Ultra Ketchup Topper

In a small bowl combine 1⁄2 cup ketchup, 3 tablespoons chopped oil-packed dried tomato, 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar, 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar, dash salt, and dash ground black pepper. Try with roasted onion patties and top with sliced tomatoes.

Smoky Berry Topper

In a small bowl mash 3⁄4 cup fresh blueberries and/or raspberries with a potato masher or fork. Stir in 2 tablespoons bacon-flavor vegetable protein bits and 2 tablespoons cider vinegar. Try with roasted garlic patties and top with watercress.
