Thin Pizza Crust

PREP: 25 minutes CHILL: 2 to 24 hours STAND: 1 hour MAKES 1 crust (6 servings)

1 package active dry yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

1⁄4 teaspoon salt

3⁄4 cup warm water (100°F to 105°F)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cups bread flour

1 In a large bowl combine yeast, sugar, and salt; stir in the water and oil. Using a wooden spoon, stir in as much of the flour as you can. Using wet hands, work in any remaining flour but do not knead dough. Cover bowl with a towel and let stand at room temperature until nearly double in size (40 to 50 minutes). Chill, covered, for 2 to 24 hours.

2 Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface. Shape into a ball. Cover and let stand for 20 minutes. Use to prepare your favorite pizza.*

PER SERVING (crust only): 191 cal., 3 g total fat (0 g sat. fat), 0 mg chol., 99 mg sodium, 34 g carb., 1 g fiber, 6 g pro.

*tip

To prepare your favorite pizza: Preheat oven to 475°F. Coat a 12- to 14-inch pizza pan or a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Roll Thin Pizza Crust dough into a 12- to 14-inch circle or a 12×8-inch rectangle. Transfer dough to the prepared pan or baking sheet. Add your favorite toppings. Bake for 11 to 14 minutes or until crust is lightly browned, toppings are heated through, and cheese (if using) is melted.
