Hard-Boiled Eggs

2 eggs, any size

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water to at least 1โ„2 inch above the eggs. Cover the pan with the lid and bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
As soon as the water is boiling, remove from heat. Let the eggs stand in the hot water for 17โ€“20 minutes.
Remove the eggs from the saucepan and place in a bowl filled with cold water for at least 2 minutes, or until cool enough to handle. Peel off the shells. The eggs will keep in the refrigerator for about 1 week.

Cage-Free, Farm Fresh, or Industrial
Farm fresh eggs are most nutritious due to their freshness and supply more vitamin A, vitamin E, and omega-3 fatty acids compared to industrial eggs. If you canโ€™t find farm fresh eggs near you, you can still buy cage-free eggs in the supermarket.
