Mornings can be a rush, but that doesn’t mean you have to skip a delicious and nourishing start to your day! This Peach Berry Smoothie is my go-to for a quick, vibrant, and utterly satisfying breakfast. It’s packed with fruity flavor, has a wonderfully creamy texture from the soy yogurt, and comes together in less time than it takes to brew a pot of coffee. Let’s blend up some sunshine!

Ingredients

• (Makes 2 Servings)
• 1 cup / 150g frozen unsweetened peach slices
• 2⁄3 cup / 160g plain soy yogurt
• 1⁄2 cup / 70g frozen mixed berries
• 1⁄3 cup / 80ml orange juice
• 1 teaspoon / 4g sugar, or to taste

Instructions

1. Combine all —frozen peaches, soy yogurt, mixed berries, orange juice, and sugar—into the carafe of a high-speed blender.
2. Secure the lid and blend on high for 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
3. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Pro Tips

• Pro-Tips
• For an ultra-smooth, less icy texture, allow the frozen fruit to sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before blending.
• Boost the nutritional content by adding a scoop of your favorite vanilla plant-based protein powder, a tablespoon of chia seeds, or a handful of fresh spinach.
• Adjust the sweetness to your liking. Swap the sugar for a drizzle of maple syrup, agave nectar, or one pitted Medjool date.

FAQ

Q: Is this peach berry smoothie vegan
A: Yes, this smoothie is completely vegan and dairy-free as it uses soy yogurt instead of traditional dairy yogurt. All other ingredients are naturally plant-based.

Q: How can I add more protein to this vegetarian smoothie
A: To boost the protein content, you can add a scoop of your favorite plant-based vanilla protein powder, a tablespoon of chia seeds or hemp seeds, or a spoonful of almond butter. These additions will make it an even more filling vegetarian breakfast.

Q: What can I use instead of soy yogurt
A: If you don’t have soy yogurt, you can easily substitute it with another plant-based yogurt like coconut, almond, or oat yogurt for a similar creamy texture. For a different kind of creaminess, you could also use half a frozen banana or 1/4 cup of silken tofu.

Q: Can I make this smoothie ahead of time
A: This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately for the freshest flavor and creamiest texture. However, you can store it in an airtight container or jar in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. It may separate, so be sure to shake it well before drinking.
