    3⁄4 head romaine lettuce

    1 cup plain croutons

    1⁄4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    3 tablespoons Caesar salad dressing

    Black pepper, to taste

    Wash the lettuce and pat dry. Tear the leaves into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
    Mix together the croutons, Parmesan cheese, and lettuce. Just before serving, toss with the Caesar salad dressing and sprinkle with black pepper.
