A luscious fruit salad that develops a beautiful rosy color as it sits. You can improvise, but I have found this to be the best combination of fruits. It is great for dessert, breakfast, or a light lunch.
SAUCE
2 cups plain yogurt
3 tablespoons honey
Вѕ teaspoon cinnamon
ВЅ pint strawberries, hulled and halved
2 ripe bananas, sliced ВЅ inch thick
ВЅ pint blueberries
2 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced ВЅ inch thick
ВЅ ripe cantaloupe, cut into ВЅ-inch cubes
- In a large bowl combine the ingredients for the sauce and mix well.
- Set aside 6 strawberry halves for garnish. Toss the remaining strawberries and the other fruit with the sauce. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving and up to 24 hours. Serve each portion garnished with a strawberry half.
