1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9″ × 9″ pan.
In a large bowl, cream the cocoa and sugar into the butter until well blended. In a small bowl, stir the vanilla extract into the egg substitute. Beat the egg substitute into the cocoa mixture.

Unsalted Butter Benefits
The name says it all—unsalted butter has no added salt. Cooks prefer it for baking, as salt can overpower butter’s natural sweet flavor. The only drawback is that unsalted butter is more perishable—the salt in regular butter acts as a preservative. For long-term storage, keep it in your freezer.
